The Swiss violinist Egidius Streiff, one of the most versatile musicians of his Generation, enjoys a repertoire which comprises - beside the concertos of Dvorak or Schumann - the complete works of Bernd Alois Zimmermann for violin and solo works (sometimes also with live-electronic) dedicated to him.
Mariana Doughty from Cornwall gained an MA in French -and Music at Jesus College, Cambridge before concentrating on her instrumental studies in London with David Takeno. She was awarded a government stipendium to continue her studies with Christoph Schiller, Walter Levin and Hatto Beyerle in Basle. Based in Switzerland, her engagement in several chamber ensembles has led to concert activity all over Europe.
Alfredo Persichilli from Rome had already drawn attention to himself at a young age as an outstanding performer («il piu giovane e migliore talento del concorso», Cassado competition). Since then he has been prize-winner at several international competitions. Firmly rooted in the great Italian Tradition, his ability encompasses the classical and the modern alike in music.
